Established in 2003, Prime Design is a full-service construction management and general contracting firm able to work with clients from development and planning through design to completion. Prime Design has expertise in all forms of industrial, commercial, institutional and residential construction. Through its' capable in-house resources and network of trade, financial and development partners, Prime is able to assist in structuring and expediting projects in a manner that brings to bear considerable construction, cost control and scheduling efficiencies.
It starts with Prime Design’s strong team of professionals. The principals of the firm include Patrick DeCraemer, P.Eng., President, and Dominic Amicone, P.Eng., Treasurer. Combined, the officers of the company bring more than 80 years of construction and development experience to the table on projects of various types and sizes located across Ontario and in some National and International Markets. Both principals of Prime Design are hands on and have the complementary experience in land development, cost estimating and quality building construction to make a powerful team to have for you.

Patrick DeCraemer, P.Eng.
PRESIDENT & PARTNER
Patrick attended the University of Waterloo and graduated with his co-operative degree in Civil Engineering in 1984. Prior to founding Prime Design Build Corporation in 2003, Pat spent his entire career with Bird Construction Company, starting as an assistant Engineer and working his way to the final position of Senior Production Manager. Through his career, Pat has worked in all market sectors within the construction and development industries, including Biotechnical, Commercial, Industrial, Residential and Institutional, mostly in southern Ontario but also some parts of New York and Virginia. To date, Pat has successfully managed $500 million worth of construction projects throughout his career.

Shane A. Steurnol
DIRECTOR, DEVELOPMENT SERVICES
Shane brings his unique experience in the planning and development fields to the team. Shane is active in the development of residential and commercial projects for our company where he works with owners to guide in the early approach to the development of the building sites and following through with advise and direction related to optimizing use of building sites and liaising with cities and towns as the projects move forward.

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
Chris Hamm, Senior Project Manager at Prime Design Build Corporation, has over 15 years of experience in construction management, specializing in delivering high-quality projects across commercial, institutional, and residential sectors. A graduate of the University of Waterloo with a degree in Civil Engineering, Chris combines technical expertise with strong leadership to ensure every project is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. His portfolio includes overseeing multimillion-dollar developments, with a focus on cost control, scheduling, and client satisfaction. Known for his hands-on approach and dedication, Chris is a vital part of the Prime Design Build team, driving successful outcomes.
